Skytrans Announces Expanded Schedules Effective 26th July 2010
Offering new flights from Cairns to Mount Isa
Skytrans provides scheduled service flights to Cairns, Lockhart River, Aurukun, Coen, Bamaga, Edward River, Kowanyama, Normanton, Gununa, Burketown, Doomadgee, Mount Isa, Boulia, Bedourie, Birdsville, Windorah, Quilpie, Charleville, Brisbane, Toowoomba, St George, Cunnamulla and Thargomindah. We pride ourselves in providing professional aviation services to some of the most remote parts of Australia. We are constantly expanding our route network and recently upgraded our fleet to the larger DHC-8 - 36 seat aircraft. Important information for Cunnamulla
passengers
From 21st June (date subject to change), Skytrans Western 1 service will not land
in Cunnamulla. Instead. a free bus to and from Thargomindah has been organised
by the Council.
Normal service will be resumed in approximately 2 weeks from the start of works.
Skytrans apologises for any inconvenience caused, but views the runway upgrade
which has resulted in this temporary change as an extremely positive move for
the airline and the community.
