Skytrans are proud to partner with the Living with Lead Alliance for the delivery of their Healthy Kids Program in 2012. The Program is all about providing children with free access to regular structured physical activity programs. It delivers safe and supervised sessions for children to participate in active and healthy activities which encourage social development, participation and coordination skills.
The launch of the program took place at Captain Cook Oval in Mount Isa on Monday14th May, and included a sausage sizzle, jumping castle and many fun-filled activities for the kids. Skytrans came on board along with the Skytrans Cairns Taipans, who brought some players along to the event to contribute towards making it a really special day for the kids and the families of the region.
“At Skytrans we’re always looking for positive ways to give back to the Communities that give to us and feel it’s our social responsibility to become actively involved in improving the quality of life for the people across our network. Supporting the Healthy Kids Program is just one of the many ways that we feel we can give back to the people in the community of Mount Isa.”
