Skytrans provides regional services to remote areas across North Queensland. We offer competitive rates and a reliable and efficient freight service across our network.
We have a fast and effective team located around our network ready to assist you in meeting your distribution needs and we pride ourselves in looking after our customers freight and making sure it arrives on time.
General Freight
We transport freight of all shapes and sizes on our network. All freight must be lodged 2 hours prior to the scheduled departure time of the flight, however, for individual items over 32kgs prior arrangements need to be made.
On carriage of freight to interstate ports are available through the Toll network.
There are alcohol restrictions in some of the communities, please contact us for further information.
Animals
All animals and live seafood need to be booked directly with our reservations team. Skytrans does not provide cages for your pets. If you require a cage please contact Dogtainers in your local area or visit www.dogtainers.com.au for details.
Dangerous Goods
Carriage of dangerous goods by air is governed by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA), the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) and the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
Dangerous Goods are acceptable, however, the applicable regulations to packing and documentation must be met. Please contact our Reservations Team for further information if you wish to transport Dangerous Goods.
