Community Partnership Programs

Skytrans is passionate about providing practical and innovative partnerships with our local communities. At Skytrans, we recognise and embrace our responsibilities to the communities in which we operate and as such take great pride in partnering with customers, organisations, government and communities across the diverse Queensland and the Torres Strait Islands communities.

Skytrans has a long history of supporting Queensland and has invested over 1 million dollars in sponsorship back into the communities that we service during the past three years. Through these community partnerships we continue to make a positive contribution to Queensland and Torres Strait communities by supporting events, causes, events and activities that are important to our region.

Sponsorship requests

Sponsorship is available to businesses, associations, local councils and not-for-profits to assist in providing initiatives and events in Queensland and the Torres Straits that help:

Create jobs
Children get a better start
Keep Queenslanders and Torres Strait Islanders healthy and active
Keep communities safe and engaged culturally
Councils be responsive to community needs.

To apply you will also need to show how your initiative or event:

aligns with the above selection criteria: and
delivers benefits to the community; or
leverages opportunities for government.

And, that you have the organisational capability to successfully deliver the initiative or event.

Applications will be assessed for their strategic merit and alignment to the selection criteria, and Skytrans objectives. Consideration will also be given to local needs and emerging issues as the need arises.

In your application you will also need to supply information about:

your business, association, local council or group
the initiative or event details
marketing and communications strategies or plans
any matters that may impact the sponsorship decision.

If you are looking to deliver an initiative or event that meets these criteria, you can apply online.

If you are successful, you will be required to enter into a sponsorship agreement with Skytrans Airlines and fulfil any milestones and deliverables outlined.

Sponsorship funding will be distributed in accordance with the Skytrans Sponsorship Policy (PDF). Should the terms of the sponsorship agreement not be met, Skytrans reserves the right to revoke or amend the offer of sponsorship funding. The level of assistance is limited by Skytrans budget and its priorities.
