    Peter Collings

    Group Owner

    Peter Collings is a proud Queenslander who boasts 25 years in the aviation industry as both a commercial pilot and experienced airline owner.  Peter along with his good friend Johnathan Thurston purchased Skytrans in March 2015 after a rescue buy-out.    Peter provides the strategic development that has seen Skytrans achieve great success in just over a year.

    Johnathan Thurston


    The greatest NRL player in the world has joined the Skytrans team as a proud co-owner in March 2015.   Johnathan is actively involved in the Skytrans business taking on the role of Skytrans Community Ambassador as part of his portfolio.

    Stuart Dechan


    Stuart boasts an impressive Australian and international aviation career. He started his career on the hanger floor and worked his way up through to commercial to managing director. His results driven approach is set to lead Skytrans into a new generation of innovation and performance.

    He is equally committed to community engagement and will ensure Skytrans continues to deliver grass-roots programs.

    Wayne Croton

    Chief Financial Officer

    Wayne brings 15 years experience in senior finance roles, specifically in regional aviation and international airline operations.   He has worked throughout Australia and abroad, and is a Member of CPA  Australia.  Wayne plays an active role in developing and defining the overall strategy for the organisation whilst also providing commercial insights and analysis to support the wider team.

    Greg Bloom

    Airline Operations Manager

    Greg is a results-driven Aviation Operations Management professional with experience working for both international and regional airlines.  His proven ability to manage the operations of an aviation operation ensures all activities taking place are managed promptly and within internal  and external regulatory guidelines.

    Ricardo Inacio

    Safety and Quality Manager

    Ricardo has over 40 years of experience in aviation as airline flight dispatcher and pilot, civil aviation authority senior officer, and Safety and Compliance in domestic and international charter and RPT operations.   As Safety and Quality Manager Ricardo implements, promotes and ensures Skytrans operates to the highest level of international safety and quality standards applicable to airline operations.

    Jon White

    Continuing Airworthiness Manager

    Jon provides 22 years experience in the aviation industry as a Licenced Aircraft Engineer and in airworthiness management.   Jon’s current role as Continuing Airworthiness Manager is to ensure the continued airworthiness of our fleet of Dash 8’s, Cessna C208 and B200 Aircraft.

    Steve Whitby

    Manager of Flight Operations

    Over 30 years aviation experience with more than 10 years’ experience as a Management Pilot in turboprop RPT/Charter operations. Steve is an experienced Training/Check Captain and his experience ranges from ab-initio to advanced pilot training through corporate and GA charter. In his role as Manager of Flight Operations, Steve is responsible for the management of a number of operational functions, including operational safety, operational compliance, line operations and the oversight of the training of all crew by the Head of Training and Checking.

    Jen Willison

    Cabin Services Manager

    With a passion for travel and the skies, Jen brings 15 years cabin crew experience to Skytrans.   Jen moved from New Zealand and joined Skytrans in 2008.  As a qualified cabin crew checker/trainer and emergency procedure instructor to the pilots and cabin crew, Jen works with her team to ensure the highest levels of services are provided to our passengers and fellow crew.

    Ana Walker

    Human Resources Manager

    Ana joins Skytrans with a long history of people focused experience.

    Previously she has worked as a team leader and clinical supervisor for Relationships Australia. HR Manager for Holy Spirit Aged Care Services and as the coordinator for the Dispute Resolution Centre in Cairns.

    Ana is dedicated to helping create and maintain a productive and positive work culture where staff feel valued and have a sense of pride in their work space.

    Debbie Walters

    Sales Manager

    Debbie Walters is an experienced Sales and Marketing Manager with a demonstrated history of working within the Tourism, Aviation & Media industries.  Skilled in Marketing Management, Digital Strategy, Sales and Media,  Debbie is known for her passion for promoting the adventures that our region offers to prospective travellers.

    Building trust and strong, long term relationships with Skytrans customers and ensuring that quality and service exceed customer expectations, is at the heart of her business ethics.

    Rebecca Hyde

    Business Development and Community Liaison Manager

    Rebecca heads up our Community Relations Program along with Management of the Retail Sales Team.

    Her career in aviation is extensive and includes roles in flight operations as a flight attendant for initially Ansett Australia and then an off shore posting in Dubai with Emirates.

    Other roles have included base management in Cairns for International carriers and ground operation roles.

    Rebecca is well known and respected by the Cape York and Torres Strait Communities as she sees them as one big family.
