    Peter Collings

    Group Owner

    Peter Collings is a proud Queenslander who boasts 25 years in the aviation industry as both a commercial pilot and experienced airline owner.  Peter along with his good friend Johnathan Thurston purchased Skytrans in March 2015 after a rescue buy-out.

    Peter provides the strategic development that has seen Skytrans achieve great success in just over a year.

    Johnathan Thurston

    Co-owner

    The greatest NRL player in the world has joined the Skytrans team as a proud co-owner in March 2015.

    Johnathan is actively involved in the Skytrans business taking on the role of Skytrans Community Ambassador as part of his portfolio.

    Tim Healee

    Group CEO

    Tim is not only a qualified commercial pilot, but he’s led international aviation operations and customer service teams, for both Virgin Blue and LifeFlight. He’s a hands on leader with a passion for people and aviation.

    Tim has operated in every facet of aviation operations and is looking forward to the opportunities before the company.

    Jaydip Sengupta

    Chief Financial Officer

    Jaydip is a seasoned finance executive with extensive experience in regional airlines. Prior to joining Skytrans, Jaydip worked with an international regional airline operator as well as large organisations in diverse sectors, both in Australia and abroad.

    Having worked in senior management positions, he has proven to be a high-level strategist, capable of developing and implementing innovative solutions. He holds a Master Degree in Commerce and is a member of CPA Australia as well as The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

    Scott Haywood

    Manager of Flight Operations

    Scott is a highly experienced Check Captain/Examiner and Instructor on jet, turbo prop and general aviation aircraft, with over 30 years’ experience in domestic and international airlines.

    He has previously held Chief Pilot positions in Australia and various Captain and Check Pilot/Instructor roles on Dash-8, Boeing and Airbus aircraft, including at Jetstar and Emirates and previously at Skytrans. For the last 7 years, Scott held senior roles at Tigerair Australia, first as A320 Check Pilot and subsequently as B737 Flight Examiner.

    Jackie Britz

    General Manager - People & Culture

    As a pragmatic, professional and highly experienced HR leader with a wide range of comprehensive generalist HR experience, Jackie enjoys adding real value and partnering with the leaders and supporting team members to achieve both strategic and operational organisational objectives.

    Jackie has worked in a variety of workplaces of all sizes across both Australia and New Zealand, in a good mix of both private and public sectors in industries such as tertiary education, research and development, environmental, utilities, mining, transport and manufacturing.

    David McDermott

    General Manager - Engineering

    David is a degree qualified aviation professional with over 30 years’ experience across the engineering value stream within commercial airlines from aircraft maintenance to senior management.

    David has worked for two of Australia’s leading airlines commencing his aviation career as an apprentice aircraft maintenance engineer progressing through to airline management at the senior level.

    David’s team at Skytrans are quality driven assuring the highest possible levels of safety and compliance.

    Greg Bloom

    Base Manager - Cairns

    Greg is a results-driven Aviation Operations Management professional with experience working for both international and regional airlines.

    His proven ability to manage the operations of an aviation operation ensures all activities taking place are managed promptly and within internal and external regulatory guidelines.

    Samantha Collings

    Base Manager - Horn Island

    Sam is our Base Manager – Horn Island and has worked in nearly every division within Skytrans, from ground operation to head office, over her 10-year career with the company.

    Sam has an in-depth knowledge of the culture and people within our business, and a deep, operational understanding of the functions involved in Low Capacity Operations.

    Jen Willison

    Cabin Services Manager

    With a passion for travel and the skies, Jen brings 15 years cabin crew experience to Skytrans.   Jen moved from New Zealand and joined Skytrans in 2008.

    As a qualified cabin crew checker/trainer and emergency procedure instructor to the pilots and cabin crew, Jen works with her team to ensure the highest levels of services are provided to our passengers and fellow crew.

    Wendy Wilson

    Corporate Liaison Manager

    Wendy commenced her aviation career in 1978 when she was working in Air Traffic Control for the British Women’s Royal Airforce.

    During her journey, with over 30 years’ experience in customer service, Wendy has spent time as Commercial and Terminal Manager for a large Regional Airport and as Operations Manager for a charter service based on Horn Island. Wendy lived in the Torres Straits for a number of years and has a wealth of knowledge of the region. Wendy has focussed on ‘Customer Service’  and building relationships in all of her roles and is enthusiastic in looking after a number of Contracts and Charters in her current position.
