    Peter Collings

    Group Owner

    Peter Collings is a proud Queenslander who boasts 25 years in the aviation industry as both a commercial pilot and experienced airline owner.  Peter along with his good friend Johnathan Thurston purchased Skytrans in March 2015 after a rescue buy-out.

    Peter provides the strategic development that has seen Skytrans achieve great success in just over a year.

    Johnathan Thurston


    The greatest NRL player in the world has joined the Skytrans team as a proud co-owner in March 2015.

    Johnathan is actively involved in the Skytrans business taking on the role of Skytrans Community Ambassador as part of his portfolio.

    Alan Milne

    Group CEO

    Alan has over 39 years experience in the aviation industry, spanning a diverse range of operational, regulatory and strategic management roles. Beginning his career as an aircraft maintenance engineer, Alan progressed through the management ranks to become a senior executive at Australia’s largest airline.

    Alan progressed to become the CEO of a large international airline in the Pacific region before joining Skytrans in 2020.

    As a double degree qualified professional, a private pilot and a licensed engineer, Alan brings a vast wealth of knowledge of the airline industry to Skytrans.

    Jaydip Sengupta

    Chief Financial Officer

    Jaydip is a seasoned finance executive with extensive experience in regional airlines. Prior to joining Skytrans, Jaydip worked with an international regional airline operator as well as large organisations in diverse sectors, both in Australia and abroad.

    Having worked in senior management positions, he has proven to be a high-level strategist, capable of developing and implementing innovative solutions. He holds a Master Degree in Commerce and is a member of CPA Australia as well as The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

    Will Witham

    General Manager of Flight Operations

    Will is an experienced Aviation Manager, with over 15 years of aviation experience in roles including Training and Checking, Safety and Flight Operations Management.

    He has previously held Chief Pilot positions in Australia and Papua New Guinea, along with Instructor/Examiner roles on various de Havilland and ATR aircraft.

    As GMFO he is responsible for all facets of the Company’s flight operations and all operational matters affecting the safety of flight operations.

    Adrian Smith

    General Manager - Engineering

    Adrian has over 40 years’ experience in the aviation industry. Holding an Engineers License in numerous countries, he has worked in Australia, Papua New Guinea, Kuwait and the UAE.

    Working in a mixture of regional airlines, Adrian has over 20 years’ experience on Regional Turbo-Props, Dash-8 and ATR’s.

    Adrian has held Senior Management positions in Australia and Papua New Guinea, and, most recently as the Accountable Manager for the first PNG EASA Part 145 Approved Maintenance Organisation.

    Kartik Purohit

    General Manager - Safety & Quality

    Kartik has over 28 years of aviation experience spanning across Europe, the Middle East and Australasia. Starting his career as an apprentice Engineer with British Airways in 1993, Kartik has since held senior positions in Regulatory Affairs and Special Projects with Qatar Airways as well as Postholder positions in QA and Safety in Australia and Papua New Guinea.

    Kartik is a member of the Royal Aeronautical Society, a Certified ISO:9001 Safety & Lead Auditor and holds Postgraduate qualifications in Aviation from the University of New South Wales in Sydney and Aeronautical & Aircraft Engineering qualifications from Brooklands College in the UK.

    Brent Wise

    General Manager - Operations

    Brent Wise has over 20 years of international aviation experience. After completing a Bachelor of Science, Brent joined Qantas Airways in Sydney. Following, he moved into charter aviation, first as operations, then base manager, before taking on the role of CEO, then Regional Director Asia. After 6 years holding both roles, he returned to Australia, taking on a Group Director role in Commercial before specialising in the Safety & Quality stream, an area of personal interest.

    A certified lead auditor and safety management specialist, Brent is cognisant with Regular Public Transport and Resource Sector aviation requirements.  He applies real life lessons learned which are coupled with his executive management experience and leadership skills.

    Greg Bloom

    Base Manager - Cairns

    Greg is a results-driven Aviation Operations Management professional with experience working for both international and regional airlines.

    His proven ability to manage the operations of an aviation operation ensures all activities taking place are managed promptly and within internal and external regulatory guidelines.

    Samantha Collings

    Base Manager - Horn Island

    Sam is our Base Manager – Horn Island and has worked in nearly every division within Skytrans, from ground operation to head office, over her 10-year career with the company.

    Sam has an in-depth knowledge of the culture and people within our business, and a deep, operational understanding of the functions involved in Low Capacity Operations.

    Tamara Bell

    Cabin Services Manager

    Having lived in the Middle East for 12 years and flying internationally as a Senior Flight Stewardess with Emirates Airline, Tamara brings a wealth of experience to Skytrans.

    As the cabin crew checker and trainer, Tamara takes great pride in ensuring her ever expanding team of Cabin Crew delivers the highest level of safety and service to our passengers.

    Paul Williams

    Revenue and Network Manager

    Paul was a manager in the British government, overseeing significant projects, before moving to Australia in 2011. He managed revenue on regional, domestic, and international routes for Qantas and Virgin Australia, then joined Skytrans in June 2020.

    He is an award-winning writer of non-fiction and fiction with over 100 publications and has a PhD in folklore.

    Campbell Wilson

    Sales & Marketing Manager

    Campbell joined Skytrans early in 2021 as part of the Commercial team, bringing fresh eyes to the business.

    His extensive experience across both commercial and consumer sector organisations in project and client management, positions him well within our business to build and develop our services along with identifying new opportunities for Skytrans.

    A Bachelor Degree in Marketing and certified Change Manager, Campbell thrives in dynamic environments and values great customer outcomes.
